"It was a nice clean room with a very nice bathroom. However it was the size of a closet and the lack of a window was not the best but we kind of knew it was just for a short stay so it fit the bill. Everything was very modern and clean so it was a pretty nice stay for our needs. No complaints and the location was very convenient"

"The hotel is located well and I would stay here again if I needed to but would probably choose to try another hotel next time I’m in Edinburgh. The room was serviceable, quite small with little storage and the view was a fire exit stairs ( we spend most of our time out and about so not a massive issue ). My partner felt let down that the cleaning staff came to make up the room late in the afternoon after we had been out all day and we were about to start to get ready for a dinner reservation. Getting seated and served in the bar was initially easy but depending on the staff it was sometimes hard to order another round or get the bill."

"Our stay was for our anniversary trip and subsequent engagement. We wanted a place within walking distance of various locations in Edinburgh. I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city. The staff elevated our stay, every single staff member was helpful, friendly and welcoming. They went above and beyond to accommodate us and the location is probably the best in terms of proximity to everything in old town. Hotel is clean, has great amenities, breakfast and room service were excellent. 5 star experience."
