"Friendly staff, great service and great breakfast "

"Decent town centre hotel, clean room, peaceful night's sleep, friendly reception staff; However, breakfast wasn't that great, shown to a table and then left to fend for myself. Had to ask for coffee, wasn't offered toast or anything, fruit bowl was just juice, and the cooked breakfast was lukewarm. Not one member of staff spoke to me during the 40 mins I was in the restaurant. Never mind, there probably won't be a next time !"

"Stayed here during the summer, breakfast was great, we were given a menu and a choice of continental selection. Breakfast cooked fresh so we booked again. Sadly this time we were greeted with a breakfast buffet which wasnt the same. Therefore we would not be in a rush back, hopefully the cook will ge brought back "

"Staff were friendly. Room was not nice at all. Carpets dirty and damaged. Bathroom had black mould all over the ceiling and smelt very bad. Not a great experience at all. Whole place needs a big revamp "

"The room was dirty, with cigarette butts and ash in the drawers along with dirty takeout bits, the toilet just had cleaning fluid sprayed on top of something gross, there was no tea making facilities in the room, the food seemed to be from a van outside and the cherry on top was being kept awake at 2am by a voilent sounding drunk trying to kick doors in until the police arrived, then being greeted with ripped clothes and blood on the stairs as we left."

"Overall the hotel was ok. The bed was hard and a four poster, which wasn’t very tall, so I had quite a few head bumps. We stayed during the cold snap and the room didn’t have great heating, however reception did provide an additional electric radiator which worked perfectly. Overall staff were great, parking was easy, it is dog friendly but not all rooms are from what I could gather so you should check in advance if it’s ok. "Customer service lady was mean checking us in. No central air conditioning or heating. Room had some what fans. Clean but no amenities like fridge, iron, or microwave. Will I recommend it, yeah if you are on a low budget. If you want quality service, then don’t book this."

"If you go room only breakfast is £10 per head, we don't eat a big breakfast so for us is isn't worth it, we went out for breakfast."

"We had to abandon trip due to an emergency tried to move the booking to the following weekend. Initially hotel suggested it was possible but then decided it wouldn’t. Expedia staff were excellent in trying to assist. we understand the terms of the booking but as a frequent traveller the first time we have found a hotel operator to be inflexible which is a shame. As we weren’t able to complete the visit unable to comment on the rest of the facilities but unlikely to choose stop at a days inn...

"Perfect hotel for kids. Steps from Drayton Manor. Food in the restaurant was lovely and good breakfast before a day at the theme park! "

"Property was nice and room ok. Shower was a powerful but temperature kept varying. Bar food and drinks were nice but disappointing that on Expedia (who we booked through) it said pets stay free but on arrival charges were applied for the dog which is why I’ve given a lower rating. Did mention to the member of staff who checked us in but nothing was done about this and Expedia still shows as pets stay free "
