"Overall this was a good place to stay. However the signage coming off the motorway to the hotel was poor. This was also one of those ridiculous places where the power points in the rooms are nowhere near where you actually want them - ie, near the bed.

"Enjoyed a great stay. Staff were very helpful, room was great. Breakfast was good with plenty of options and at a reasonable price. Would recommend the Chase for a stay. "

Inland Eastbourne...lots of retired people in a quiet unassuming city. Cathedral is a sight to behold inside and out. Wouldnt go here expecting a rausous nightlife or adventure!!

Although a "city" by definition of having a cathedral it is really a charming and vibrant small town.
