"Fijne kamer, prettige medewerkers, ontbijt prima, dakterras ook fijn. Parkeren moet in de parkeergarage tegenover het hotel. Als je minder mobiel bent is dat niet zo fijn vanwege de helling."

"The room was generally quite nice. In the bathroom, it was unfortunate that the shower did not have a glass door since the water easily splashes out onto the bathroom floor. The breakfast was wonderful! The construction in front of the hotel building was inconvenient and sometimes the entrance walk was muddy. We also rented a parking space in the hotel garage and there were not many spaces available, but too much construction supplies stored in the garage."

"Vil først bemerke at det ikke var byttet sengetøy på sovesofaen ved ankomst. Dette la jeg først merke til sent på kvelden. Sengetøyet var skittent, og lakenet var fullt av hår fra tidligere gjester. Ble byttet etter at det ble gitt beskjed om dagen etter. Rommet i seg selv var bra, men savner kjøleskap på rommet. For øvrig et fint hotell som inneholder det meste man trenger, og enkel tilgang til Dyreparken fra hotellet."

"Wij hadden een cabine die was bij aankomst schoon. En het was een leuke camping veel gezinnen met kinderen. Alleen de gezamenlijke douche en wc's waren heel erg druk. En stond vaak in de rij om naar de wc te kunnen"

"The view over the water, islands and mountains is incredibly beautiful and not to be missed. The owners are very friendly and very accommodating. We had a special vegetarian lunch which was delicious and plentiful. The sauna with a view was so fun and relaxing. It is on the dock where you can jump in the water if you dare! It is cold and refreshing. It is worth the commute into Stavanger, about 30 minutes, to be on this peaceful and lovely island at this welcoming, homey place."

"Here’s a sharper version—firm and critical without sounding unreasonable: This is a nice place, but our experience was seriously affected by the hotel hosting two corporate groups during our stay. Regular hotel guests were clearly treated as a lower priority. The dinner menu available to us was essentially reduced to burgers, while the proper set menu and a noticeably better level of service were reserved for the corporate groups.
