"hotel is conveniently located to the Capital Theater, an easy walk. The lobby and room was spacious, clean. and good repair. Our room only had 1 desk chair and it would have nice to have more seating besides the beds. When we booked the room, we didn't realize that the rooftop bar is indoor/outdoor and not open in mid-April. The onsite restaurant was nice but kitchen was closed at 10pm on a Friday when got back from the theater. "

"The grounds need attention. The entire back side was dirty needs yard work. The Homewood Hitel next door was an eyesore. Something going on because the hotel seemed closed down but k9 cars and some dressed up people wandering around. Strange atmosphere. "

"This is the second time we have stayed at Home2 Suites by Hilton. This time in Grand Blanc Michigan. Room clean; however, some mildew in the shower could have been cleaned better. Breakfast had great selection and staff provided anything we asked for. The front desk and all other staff very friendly and attentive. Will book again. Overall, highly recommend."

"Coffee maker didn't have the coffee tray and the replacement i asked for didn't fit. The TV clicker looked like it had never been cleaned. The bathroom floor had crud around the edges. Behind the nightstand (i needed the outlet) was a plastic fork and really dusty. That outlet was the only one that was tight enough to hold a plug in. One room that was visible from the front first floor parking lot had shredded curtains hanging. The room smelled like old smoke. "

"Very disappointed in this place. First stay was good, very predictable Marriott quality. Our last stay was awful. Booked into one of the only available rooms, a double king, which isn’t a big deal. This must’ve been the oldest room in the place and the lock didn’t work. They had us right next to the compressor room so all night long we heard that thing turning on and off. And after a poor nights sleep, we got up for what used to be complimentary coffee only to learn they now charge for...

"Air conditioner worked great, it was a nice 80° in Michigan in April. The parking lot could have been more luminous."

"Parking lot had many potholes and there was not enough parking for the number of guests. We were notified that the elevator was not working on Thursday and that we could cancel our stay. That was not an option considering we were staying in Fenton due to a bowling tournament. "
