"We stayed one night on June 18th, 2026 and were quite happy with the hotel overall. The two receptionists were very pleasant and helpful. The room was spacious with two queen beds; the bathroom was clean but the shower head was very difficult to adjust and we ended up with water on the floor (we cleaned it up!). The carpet, unfortunately, was not in good shape and had stains and ripples in it. Probably time to replace it. The breakfast was very good with bacon, omelettes, waffle maker, oatmeal cereal, pastries, yogurt, etc.
We were taking the ferry to Newfoundland in the morning, so the location was ideal. We would definitely recommend Hampton Inn Sydney and would stay there again if we return to the area,"
