"The location is amazing! Within walking distance of the train station and most of the local attractions. Laundry on site was really convenient. Room was well equipped. The only downside was that the bed was a bit uncomfortable, and the tap in the kitchen would leak randomly and wake us up."

"Our apt was three flights up and there is no lift( we were told ahead of time) so it was a climb as I’m not young anymore. That said, it was nice and clean and in a very convenient location to shops and the tram. There was some noise from the adjacent buildings climate control system. "We rented a STUDIO apartment on the 3rd floor. Bed was comfortable (American FULL SIZE, not Queen or King), shower was roomy and easy to use, washer/drawer and full kitchen was a major plus. Only one flight (30 steps) of stairs to get to the lift. Very old building, clean, updated and modern. For all those with allergies— absolutely no signs of mold or mildew. Located just steps from Princess Street and the main entrance to Waverley Station. "

"Great hotel in the perfect location! The staff were super friendly and helpful. Room was small but had everything you need! Great large shower. We easily walked to places to eat around the corner and had a great time in the beautiful bar on property. Walked to train station with luggage in under 10 minutes."

"Right on the Royal Mile where all the old buildings, cafes, shops, diners, and castles are. 10 min downhill walk to the Edinburgh Waverly station. Excellent buffet breakfast and I recommend buying that with your hotel booking if you have that option. Confortable beds amd pillows. Bath shower could have an extendable screen as water can spill out. Overall, I'd steongly recommend this hotel during your stay at Edinburgh. "

"Omg this place was amazing. It felt so homey and the owner thinks of everything. There is a sewing kit and blow dryer. My sister and I were grateful for everything this place offered. The breakfast was amazing and had so many options. I highly highly highly recommend this place. The area is amazing and it's walking distance from the castle and literally right next to loch Ness. There are flowers everywhere and restaurants literally right next door. I just loved this place. It was probably my favorite place to stay at in Scotland"
