The character and charm of the hotel was great, tastefully furnished to a high standard. The location was perfect, very close to all the Alfama attractions and only a short walk (Or 28E tram ride) into the city centre. Staff were excellent and very attentive, special mention to Miguel the Barman, who dished up some superb cocktails with lively and knowledgeable chat

This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. It is small with 19 rooms only, in a beautifully restored building in the Alfama area of Lisbon. Each room is different and lovingly decorated. Bathrooms are large with Bulgari products. Lovely bedding, great bar and restaurant with outdoor dining. A great collection of art as well. Highly recommend.
