"Friendly and helpful owners, really couldn’t do enough for you. Lovely room over looking the river. Good variety for breakfast. Place is kept nice and clean and fresh flowers . We really couldn’t find fought with this place. FANTASTIC."

"Fantastic place! One suggestion would be to maybe provide fans in the rooms when it’s hot as when it’s a heatwave it becomes so warm in the rooms! Even with the windows open it’s just soo hot. We suffered abit with the heat in the rooms with it being a heatwave so Fans would be a good idea :-) Everything else spot on x"

"The hotel is a little bit tired in places, and some of the furniture needs replacing in the dining area. But our room was lovely, very comfy bed and a beautiful view of the sea. The location in Downderry is spectacular and all of the staff were friendly and accommodating and worked really hard on a very busy bank holiday weekend. Definitely worth a visit !"

"Everything about Cherrywood Lodge was excellent. We stayed in a Superior Double Room, on the 1st floor, which was perfect. Large bed, double seated reclining sofa, spacious room, with a small fridge too. Everything was clean & well presented throughout. The breakfasts were fantastic, with a good selection on the menu, and Annie & Ralph were the perfect hosts. Coveniently situated, about a 5 to 10 minute wasl in to the centre of Looe. We would highly recommend, and would love to return in the future."

"We were made to feel very welcome as soon as we entered the property. Lots of nice additional touches too such as afternoon tea and time spent y Colin recommending places to visit and eat. The breakfast was fantastic and set us up for the day. Situated next to the bridge in Looe it was ideal for walking up to Hannafore or to the town centre."

"Lovely lodge Lovely grounds lots of animals to see birds peacocks roaming in grounds . Only thing went for meal at main hotel and found it disappointing due to being over cooked or warmed and not over nice.. being the only ones in restaurant due to early seasons put it down to that."
