"It is a little far from the city center, but you can walk to the excellent wine museum. The hotel is clean and nice, but we were surprised that there was no refrigerator in the room, especially since it can be warm during the day. It may not be suitable for guests who like to have cold water available, like at home."

"This was an interesting place. it is not a typical hotel being a 'co-living' centre with several long stay options as well as short stays. It is to the north of the city centre but within easy reach of tram and bus. The room was clean, comfortable and while not luxurious had all that could be asked. "As a lone ,older, female traveler I must say that the staff could not have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and considering that I spoke very little French. They could not have been more helpful. The room was spacious, very clean , comfortable and extremely quiet. The breakfast facilities were adequate and there was plenty of variety. Again the staff were very attentive and friendly. I can recommend Hotel Vatel and would not hesitate to stay there again."
