"Hotel is in a beautiful setting. Beach not crowded. Lots of beach chairs. We stayed in a 3rd floor room with a kitchen and loft. Had a problem with all the stairs--I missed any mention that this type of room was on the third floor. I would have booked something on the first floor if I had known. Also, there is a beach exercise program that starts at about 9 am and the instructor is quite loud in leading exercises. Detracts from the beautiful sound of the waves. During the day it is quite nice with any music confined to the restaurant."

"Went for a family vacation, everything was so convenient pool beach, shopping restaurants cabs easy to get to visit anywhere to visit we loved it ."

"The check in staff were friendly and absolutely amazing. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The only downside for me was no access to the beach due to seaweed. Which I know is apart of nature but I primarily booked the resort for beach access. I would definitely stay again "

"My stay at Sonesta was a bit of a mixed experience. There were several maintenance issues in the room that really shouldn’t have been overlooked. The shower head needed fixing, the AC seemed stuck at 18 degrees the entire time, and the Body Soap, Shampoo and conditioner dispensers were broken, which was inconvenient. The pool area was also disappointing. There’s only one pool, and it was consistently very crowded, making it hard to actually enjoy. That said, the staff were genuinely nice and helpful, which made a positive difference during the stay. Overall, it has potential, but the property really needs better upkeep and attention to detail."

"The resort was wonderful! Lots of pools and restaurants and the beach was lovely. All of the staff that we encountered was fantastic as well. It is conveniently located a short drive from the airport and both capitals with ample safe parking. It was also an easy walk to lots of off-site dining options. My only regret would be not trying any of the boat excursions listed on the back of the activities guide - maybe next time."
