"The staff is first rate. Our check in was a breeze. They were friendly and helpful. We couldn’t get the room to stay cool it was 74 degrees when we arrived and after 2 hours the temperature hadn’t changed. The maintenance man was very helpful he gave a a fan that did help. He was so nice and friendly also. The cleaning staff were so nice. Thank you Grace for doing such an amazing job."

"The room was very clean and the staff was great. Air-conditioning was amazing and perfect. So close to so many cool things to see. Very close to subway system, Penn Station, and Central Park. I feel like the cost was a little misleading. You have the booked room cost and then there are daily fees and deposits of $500. I’ve stayed at several hotels in the city and I haven’t had something like that happen before. Plus, there are fees for every day on top of the room rate. I think their room cost...

"The rooms are always large with plenty of cupboard and drawer space. This particular room was quite dark unfortunately as there was very little natural light getting in. The beds are very comfortable and the hotel is conveniently situated for us. It is very helpful to have the kitchenette. The San Carlos is consistently great, you always know you will get a good size room and good amenities"
