"Good experience"

"We stayed 2 nights. The location is great. Very easy walk to shops, cafes, restaurants etc Room was clean & tidy, bed was comfortable. The room had a terrific view of the Bhosporus & also had an outdoor terrace that we didn’t get to enjoy due to unkind weather."

"First of all the staff is really kind and helpful, that has to be said as a first. They are very hospitable for sure. The hotel itself is however very outdated. The bed sheets had literally holes in them, and the bed was very hard. The room is also quite small, and our door had trouble opening up, so we had to ask multiple times for someone to assist on it. Moreover, the walls are super thin, so we could hear anyone just moving past our doors, and also the neighbours in the room next to us...

"Large room for 5 adults. Not huge but spacious enough. Bathroom well sized and shower was great by European standards. Staff went out of their way to be helpful. Take advantage of their offer to arrange rides and tours. Location perfect for the big sights like Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque and Topkapi palace. Lots of restraints within easy walking. Definitely would stay again."

"I had a great experience at Turna Hotel. It has all the amenities, very close to the Blue Mosque. Ali at the reception was great host when he checked me in he walked me to the Room and explained every thing. Next day I had early flight he arranged the taxi for me and when I came down he was there with Taxi outside. I highly recommend the Turna Hotel when you are looking for great place to stay in Istambul."

"This has been the best stay. Specially the staff is really friendly, helpful, and supportive.the view from the terrace is amazing. The breakfast is lovely and so is the person who makes zaida, she gave the best service for breakfast. Kenal has been very helpful with everything. We cane with are parents. If you want to stay near blue mosque in sultanahmat i would strongly suggest surahan hotel."

"Overall it was good value for the location with a hot tub in the room which had a sea view on the fourth floor. It was by the lift but we didn’t once have any noise from it over 5 nights. The aircon was efficient and quiet. The king size mattress was big enough for my height of 1.9m but the duvet was a bit narrow. Just had to sleep closer to my wife. :-) It was relatively quiet at night and the first call to prayer wasn’t as loud as during the day, which was good. Hotel is only a few hundred...

"We stayed at the Arven Hotel for four nights. It is in a good location, within walking distance of the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. The room was clean and quiet. Staff were very helpful with recommendations for sightseeing, as well as with arranging the airport transfers. We would definitely stay here again if we are back in Istanbul"
