"Bijzondere locatie om te overnachten qua oudheid en historie. Leuke en gezellige bar met grote lounge en vele fijne stoelen. Achter het hotel is ook een grote parkeerplaats en het hotel zelf ligt aan de hoofdstraat dus wel wat drukker voor de deur. Continentaal ontbijt was niet heel uitgebreid maar wel oké. Je kon English breakfast los bestellen. Je moet smalle trappen lopen richting kamer. Die was klein en compact ook qua badkamer."

Instead, I was sent a generic reminder to bring ID, which I did (including my passport), yet no ID was even checked on arrival. "Hotel stay was great, room was big enough for my family of 5 however was meant to be a double bed and 2 singles but one of them was a pullout matress with no sheets or anything so couldn’t use it. No soap in bathroom either But great location plenty of food and supermarket, petrol nearby and 8 mins from the pier. Breakfast really bad I would avoid going at all waited around 30 mins to take order and when it came was not good couldn’t eat it. Also the hygiene wasn’t great as saw staff putting...

"was unable to sleep in the bed as the room had a major issue with black mould in the bathroom which had become airborne & affected the the entire room the smell was over powering slept in a chair as the bed was cover with the black mould smell & was unable to breath, suffer with chest infections which the spores got on my chest I had to call 111 & was directed to Ipswich hospital for antibiotics, never even stopped for breakfast on day 2 felt to ill on antibiotics for next 5 days, this all...

"Great friendly staff, nice touch for the kids... they were given a voucher ea to to choose beteen, a cold drink, a hot choc with marshmallowsor an ice-cream from the bar. Slso free fizzy drinks, crisps and kitkats in the mini-fridge in tge room were nice touches. The only downer for the hotel as a whole was that there was no air-conditioning in the bedroom or the bar area and so the environment was fairly hot and stuffy."
