Room was very spacious, clean and comfortable! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a Starbucks walk up cafe and an extra charge. There is an abandoned hotel next door to the property separated by a fence. Did not notice this when we checked in last night, but did see it out our window this morning. Overall a great stay, but would be concerned about the safety in the area next door specifically in the parking lot.

This hotel was probably updated recently with new bathroom fixtures and shower. The bedroom furniture was probably updated too; however, the update did not factor the smaller size of the bathroom and bedroom. The bathroom door open into the toilet with about of 1 inch clearance and to turn on the shower you need to step in the shower to reach the shower valve because the fixed portion shower glass screen was installed at the shower valve. The hotel staff were very courteous and welcoming. Access to the hotel's location was challenging due to poor signage.

What was unique? G-A-R-Y. Incredible professional at check-in who personifies what everyone wants in check-in personnel. He pre-empted any questions I had and efficiently had me signed in before I could say Marriott Courtyard. What a relief to have a check in experience like this.
