"The good: The room was clean and tidy and stocked with towels and hygiene products. We had family visit us and the staff allowed us to use the lobby seating area so we could have dinner together. The staff was very friendly and kind. The free breakfast was hygienic (warm good was kept warm, could good kept cold) and had enough food options that everyone found something to eat (ham, eggs, biscuits and gravy, bagels, waffles, pancakes, yogurt, cereal, fruit, juice, coffee and milk).
The unfortunate: One of the lights didn't work in our because take lamp and there was clearly damage to the wall that had been repaired but was left unpainted.
I also wish there had more than 4 chairs and 3 tables in the pool area for observing people.
The bad: The pool/hot tub/dry sauna was great until they put the new chemicals in. The chlorine smell was so strong my kids had coughing fits and I had to leave to rinse my eyes out. (The next day was better with less smell and no burning lungs or eyes.) They also had no towels available in the pool area until almost 6pm (we ended up using our room towels).
Overall, a clean space with amenities you'd expect for the price we paid. Always room for improvement but no deal breakers for my family. We'd stay here again."
"the room was clean, looked like one of the bed sheets had a coffee stain all over it. staff was great, breakfast was just ok waffles, vending machine type sands that you heat in the microwave, fruit, cereal, coffee and juice. plenty of parking. would we stay there again ? YES."
"The pool and spa were closed , so I gave 4 stars. Otherwise, the place is clean and has all the amenities needed. Breakfast was good, the cinnamon rolls are made at local bakery (we believe), and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The decor in the room is a bit dated, and may need some attention, but is very much comparable to all the other hotels we have stayed at in the area.
We have stayed here twice on the way to Canada, and have been highly pleased both times."
"The hotel appears to be undergoing renovations. Accommodations are pretty basic at the moment. There is no elevator, so luggage had to be carried up and down stairs. The room was clean and comfortable, but there was insufficient light (one tiny bedside lamp in the bedroom) and not enough plugs available. The location is convenient enough and the staff were friendly."
