My most favourite place to visit

We had an excellent stay the B&B is situated right in the front of the prom 10 minutes from the beach and loads of shops restaurants and attractions all within walking distance very friendly staff 10/10

Another comfortable stay at A&V

Stayed a number of times over last few years and the hotel is continually being upgraded and never had any complaints, clean, comfortable and friendly staff ! Central location, free parking.

Amazing little gem

Amazing little hotel, staff ate lovely. Fantastic location. Reason for some lower selections was that when i booked i chose the wrong room for us. Not the hotels fault. Thank you all for a lovely stay.

Lovely hotel in a lovely area.

Lovely hotel, in a lovely area with lots of shops and cafes nearby. No one available on check-in, had to call a number in order to gain access to the hotel. Our room had some large cracks in the ceiling, but given its a listed building, I'd imagine improvements are hard to do. We enjoyed out stay nonetheless 😊

Great location, nice hotel at a bargain price

Reading previous reviews did leave us with some concerns but we cannot fault our stay at the hotel. Okay, it is not the lap of luxury but for the price we paid it was perfectly fine and we had a great little break away. Staff were very friendly and helpful, our room was clean and comfortable and the location on the promenade was perfect. There has obviously been a bit of money spent on the hotel, with new carpets in our room, together with the new bathroom upgrades. Can't fault our stay and would certainly use again if visiting lovely Southport

Clean but tired guest house.

This is quite an old property. The room is a reasonable size and clean with a comfy bed. Shower room is very small and no toiletries included. Hotel is not staffed in the evening or overnight. Breakfast available but no other meals or drinks. Housekeeping change towels but don't make the bed or wash cups etc. More like serviced rooms than a hotel.

Festival Stay

Looks can be deceiving. Outside could do with s lick of paint. But my room was great. Modern Very comfy. Very clean. Bed was super comfy. I was in room 1. Only down side was, the room was right next door to the main entrance. So had all the noise from people coming and in and out. Other than that. My stay was great.

We have stayed previously, pre Covid It’s now looking a bit tired also wasn’t as clean We did report the dreadful smell in the bathroom. Definitely something wrong with the drainage system
