"Warm and welcoming"

"Lovely place and very affordable! The hotel welcomes both cats and dogs, and its pet policy is excellent. The housekeepers were also kind and helpful when my cat hid under the bed. I’d absolutely stay here again"

"My sister came to town from Indiana and we wanted a few days away just to ourselves and we booked here and we were ecstatic with the property!! The suite worked perfect for what we needed...with having a full size refrigerator, cooktop, toaster, microwave and coffee pot, we had no need to leave the room!! It was fantastic!! The staff were very friendly and quick to help!! Will be staying here again...FOR SURE!!! Absolutely LOVED it!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!"

"It was a one night stay, totally adequate. The breakfast was disappointing and we were there early."

"Very pleasant motel. They got everything right. Well worth spending 20-30 extra dollars for such a place, compared to the 3 other options in the area. Breakfast was outstanding and completely managed by one hard working woman; she had it spotless and the food was much better than the usual. Best low-mid priced motel experience we've had in years. Definitely plan on coming back."

"clean room and a nice breakfast."

"This property was extremely old and outdated. Dilapidated and in much need of renovation and updates. They nickel and dime you for everything. They wanted to charge my Uber driver just for pulling in to pick me up! Charged a “delivery fee” for ROOM SERVICE, which was $45 for chicken fingers & fries! Wanted to charge me for a “late checkout” (Noon!). The room had zero amenities or toiletries - Would have had to pay for that as well. Clearly this property is no longer owned nor operated by Hilton...

"I liked the old country feel. The hotel was in very good condition for it's age. I wanted to stay somewhere away from the noise and bizzy of the cities of Vancouver and Portland. Part of keeping with the old theme were the shared bath and showers. They were accomodating and secure. I got exactly what I expected; steep stairs, drafty windows, and hot water that took a long time to reach the third floor. If you consider this before checking in then you will have an appreciation of this icon...

"Not good at remembering names, but the lady who checked us in on 10/29 was the most helpful, friendly, and professional person I have had dealings with at any hotel. And she remained that way throughout our stay. She deserves a gold star! The others were nice, as well, but she went above and beyond to be helpful and just had the greatest personality! Our room was clean and nicely arranged and the breakfast was excellent every morning. We enjoyed the variety of fresh offerings! Thank you for...
