You have just what you need, a bed, tv, bathroom, kettle, toaster, hob and microwave. Take your own food and you won’t have to see a soul. Sadly for us, we had a problem with our vehicle but the lovely owners let us leave it at the farm whilst we got parts for it. The owners are lovely and friendly"

"Delightful shepherd’s hut set in the mid-Wales countryside. Well equipped and maintained and very comfortable, it was just right for our long weekend visiting friends in the area. The bed was comfortable and the small kitchen and shower room met our needs. We benefitted from excellent weather so were able to take full advantage of the terrace which overlooked a field of buttercups and the nearby hills."

"We stayed for three nights in Snowy Lodge. Check in was easy, your keys are left in an envelope in the small reception, theres a map on the wall to tell you where to go. Take note with regards to check in and check out. Hotels.com states check in at 5 o'clock when its actually between 4 and 5 and check out at 9 when its actually 9:30 to 10. "This is where we always stay in Aberystwyth. It is conveniently located on the edge of town with plenty of free parking. A flat 10-15 minute walk takes you right into the centre. The hotel reception is located in the pub next door, where there is a good choice of food. Secure access to the lodge is by key card. Unfortunately there is not a lift in the lodge, but it is only 2 floors. Our room was clean, comfortable and well equipped as was the bathroom. Working A/C was a bonus with our changeable weather. We have never been aware of any noise during our stays here, apart from maybe the odd door closing."

"We were given a warm welcome. At check in I discovered we both had rooms on the fourth floor. When I explained my health issues, she very kindly managed to move me to the second floor. Unfortunately the lift was not working, which is why the issue occurred. We were very pleased with our rooms. Breakfast was excellent. For the very reasonable price, this hotel was well worth staying at. If the lift issue is resolved, we would happily return."

"I made a last minute booking whilst on a bike tour through mid Wales. There are no rooms on the ground floor so the staff were really helpful to store my bike in a secure place as my room was on the second floor. The restaurant was closed by the time managed to shower and get myself sorted at 8.50pm, none the less there is a local Turkish place were I managed to have a delicious healthy meal to fuel me the next day. The hot breakfast at the hotel was very good."
