"Our fourth stay at the Metropole in recent years.A privilege to stay in such a unique historic building,with yes a little patina around the edges.If you dont embrace the nostalgia then budget chain's are available.The staff here are so good,as is the breakfast and the pool and spa facility.A great location for roadtrips around mid Wales,and a huge car park."

"De kamer was een groot stofnest, het toilet spoelde niet meteen door. Ty Morgans is onderdeel van een keten die in het dorp Rhayadar meerdere pubs en onderkomens heeft waardoor we iemand troffen die de kamer alsnog kon laten schoonmaken."

"Lovely cottage. Everything was clean, fresh and warm. The welcoming basket was a nice suprise. Car parking was on site and very convenient location to the town. Will be returning to this little gem. Thank you. "

"Lovely hotel and very helpful staff. Excellent food. Disappointed with the spa facilities, certainly not luxury. Massage rooms were in a hut next to the swimming pool. You had to walk behind the reception desk and through the swimming pool to get there. There was no relaxation room. Enjoyed the massage but for the price I had hoped for some luxury and somewhere to lie down and chill afterwards. Also you have to go through the tiny gym to get to the hot tub and if someone is using the treadmill...

"We stayed at the Lion last weekend and the owner Helen and her staff were super welcoming. Rooms were comfortable and we loved the extra strong shower pressure! We will be back."

"The best part was the breakfast, very good and very polite individual. The room was cold, no hot water to shower, no one around to solve the issue. All in house amenities not in use. No bar. No service, no contact. It's 2 miles from town, so taxi us essential. It's the sort of place that picture perfect... But you'll only go once. Sorry for the bad review, almost recovered by the polite service and lovely breakfast."
