"Well from the welcome to the last minute we could not fault this place. Location fantastic with great views of the River Dee. All the staff weee super friendly even the manager/owner! We checked in slightly early at 13:30pm, had a couple of drinks in the bar to then later on having evening meal all fab. Plenty of choice on the menu and delicious.. "Have stayed here many times, but this time I felt they were cutting corners - no biscuits with the coffee tray in the room, and this morning at breakfast most of the fruit juice cannisters were empty, and very little fruit on offer. I do not feel the bath is suitable for older people. I am 81 and had difficulty getting into the shower as the bath is so high. "The swimming pool is out of order at the moment. was not notified of this when booking only a couple of days before I arrived. I was allocated room 56. Make sure you don’t get this room unless there is a heatwave. It was so cold that I had to ask to be moved during the night. The radiator does not appear to work in the room. I stayed for 3 nights, two of which had road closures outside the hotel . On the Sunday the road was closed from 7 am to 1 pm so could not leave unless you walked - and...

"Rooms clean, gym had everything for a usual gym goer, food was really good, but pricy but you get what you pay for. Staff were polite, weren’t always present at the bar or on reception but when they were there they really friendly. Rooms weren’t very soundproof but didn’t matter too much. Jacuzzi was really nice. Overall, would reccomend and visit again. "

"Staff, food and the SPA was amazing BUT the noise from a function room right below our room spoilt all. Did not stop until 1am a constant thump of music, we were there for a relaxing weekend but couldn’t sleep at all until after 1am. When we told the receptionist they were not concerned with no apology. Seemed it was us wrong for not joining the party. "
