"We had a fantastic stay! The apartment was spacious, spotlessly clean, and in an excellent location. The kitchen and living area were both well-equipped and comfortable, making it a great place to relax. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. "The staff was amazing. Parking is a bit complicated as the hotel is right in the town centre but the arrangements work well. Our room was in the old part and could have done with thorough cleaning and some updates. The stairs to the top were quite challenging for us, older people. The dinner and breakfast were wonderful."

"Check in was quick and welcoming. Parking was not an issue as I travelled by train, but there was a large car park. There was a nice seating area in addition to the restaurant. I did have a tile missing in the bathroom and the edge of the carpet was very dirty - not been hoovered for ages. Breakfast was good."

"The Lion Inn is an old building so one must make allowances for this which we did. The whole layout of the Inn is somewhat querky with dark coloured decor punctuated with glass wall displays which I assume were the work of Andrew Login, a local sculpture. The rooms were equally decorated in bright colours, each having a unique theme. The bathroom was modern with an excellent shower. All in all, we spent a very comfortable night with a good cooked breakfast in the morning."
