"The Bookhouse House Hotel was our absolute favorite place we stayed all year. Room was clean and neat. Food and drinks within a block away. Check-in was easy and convenient. Owners and operators are great, helpful and very nice. Will absolutely be staying and going back this spring. What an amazing experience. "

"I had an excellent stay. I was greeted warmly for check in. I then ate dinner at the restaurant which was good. The server was kind and attentive. The hotel/room is antiquated (in a good way), but very clean. The bathroom has a remodeled shower and toilet. It has character, unlike a sterile hotel room elsewhere. The bed was actually incredibly comfortable. Sheets were clean and smelled fresh. The breakfast is simple, but homey. And I appreciate that. Definitely seems like a hidden gem in...

"The history & energy of the staff. The bedrooms were large and the bathrooms nicely equipped. The decor could be updated from the 1980s. Our love seat cushion was backwards- when I flipped it to fix it, it was ripped. Besides some updating, we enjoyed our space & the barn common space was fabulous! We enjoyed playing games by the fire. We also enjoyed Sunday Brunch -- our server LT, was lovely. "

"The Inn was clean and rooms and bathrooms were up to date. Beddings were comfortable and cozy. The property itself was lovely. Our room had a small deck off the back overlooking pretty gardens. It was very peaceful. Also a shout out to Nancy who took care of all our needs and Willie who was immediately attentive to a small TV glitch in the room and had it righted in no time! Also breakfast was excellent so Kudos to the cook and all staff."

"My problem was with Expedia, there was a major snow storm arriving that night. We had a six hour drive home. The hotel said they would be fine with refunding me the second night and I should call Expedia as it was you I booked through. Try as might I could not get through your AI assisted customer service as my questions did not align with your preordained question selection. So unless you want to do the right thing I’m out $200 + dollars. Not a happy Expedia customer… "
