"The property was small but exactly what we were looking for. My family stayed three nights due to a hockey tournament we were attending and it was a nice quiet stay for us. The room was pretty clean overall, and so was the hotel. The pool and hot tub area are a plus for sure and so is the breakfast. Make sure to arrive early as it does get super crowded though!! "

"Staff was very welcoming providing an easy check-in/out and easliy accomodating for a family in split rooms. Breakfast was wonderful. Had a variety of foods to choose from - and those red velvet waffles! Chef's kiss. Rooms are spacious - could have fit a double air matress in our room - and very clean when we arrived. We did stay for two nighys and, although they do house cleaning every other day, staff provided any extras we needed and came to clean up towels after our multiple swims. Lastly, pool was very spacious and sitting area very cozy! There's enough space between chairs and pool that, even when kids jump, water never splashed far enough to reach us. Overall, we - a family of 5 - would definitely recommend this hotel."

"Price quoted was less than price required by $6. When I showed him confirmation he lowered it by $9 after a long time spent on Ipad.Room was cold. Not enough blankets. The heater didn't raise temperature. A verbal fight in the middle of the night outside our room. Heating/air conditioning unit was rough cut in and hadn't been trimmed. No drawers for clothes. No towels in room. Breakfast was given in a hamburger box, no place to sit to eat it. Needed to make 2 trips to take back to room. Breakfast limited to one box each. We did get floor room as requested and handicap parking was readily available."

"Room was great! Bed is very comfortable. I enjoyed the room! There was no included breakfast and 2 coffees cost $13. Seriously? There’s a Tim’s and Starbucks down the road. Electric charging costs a fortune, that’s taking advantage of travelers "

"BEWARE! BED BUGS!!! The property is dated and is clearly due for renovations... But our family is usually fine to stay in places that are past their prime - as long as they are clean and comfortable. At first glance, the room looked "clean & comfortable"... But after a swift kick to the bedframe (trying to straighten it out to properly line it up with the wall), the nightmare started to unfold... The kick must have awakened the bugs - because seconds later, there they were, appearing on TOP of the bed! Adults and babies! Thankfully, due to this random stroke of... luck(??) we REALIZED the bed was infested with multiple generations of bed bugs BEFORE we had unpacked, and we're therefore able to hightail it out of there before our belongings and our bodies were compromised. It could have been SO much worse! What if I hadn't been abnormally obsessed with symmetry and straight lines and the position of furniture, and had NOT kicked the bedframe?! What if my daughter had just trusted the clean white sheets and gotten into the bed without checking?! The front desk attendant was very lovely and empathetic, (and also quite horrified) and she assisted us with getting a full refund for the stay. Unfortunately, we were still left scrambling for alternative accommodation at the last minute. Not fun. Do yourself a favour and DO NOT BOOK HERE until they can verify the place has undergone extensive renovations that will ensure their bug infestations have been eradicated! "

"Spent a night to go see a Jays’ game. Took Go Train in to Toronto. Best way to get there! Hotel close to Appleby Go. Hotel is great and breakfast in morning is a benefit!"
