Great location and view!! We had dinner at the restaurant, it was perfect and the food was delicious. The facilities were excellent and the staff was very friendly and helpful! Highly recommended, I will definitely go back again!

WOW!!! This property sits high on a hill & is breathtaking! Staff was very friendly & helpful. Elegant ambiance, so many different areas to view, lots of things for children to do. Wish we would’ve been able to stay longer! Needed a room for 3, got a family room which included 3 separate rooms & 1 1/2 bathrooms!!! Highly recommend!!!

Not family friendly - best avoid

We travelled as a family with a 1-yo and a 2,5 yo. This hotel is a bit outside of the nearest village, so you have to trust everything to function well in order to enjoy the stay and experience the surrounding nature. We choose this hotel based upon themselves describing the hotel as family-friendly. However, the experiment was very different. The rooms are nice, it is clean and the hotel staff were excellent. However, the restaurant did not seem to have any experience with children. It was almost empty, only a few other tables of customers. About 40 minutes after ordering, the staff asked if they should get started on preparing the kids meals. By then, the kids were bored and hungry, and as most know, there is absolutely no family who want to keep toddlers in high chairs and try to distract them for an extra 40 minutes if not needed. The staff simply did not seem to understand that a family with toddlers does not want a long sitting, we want our children to be fed and happy. So despite only a few other guests in the restaurant, the food arrived slightly more than an hour after ordering. By then, the kids were crying from hunger and could not eat. The staff were very quick to get us the full bill for food we could not eat or enjoy because we had to take the kids back to the room to comfort them and feed them snacks. This was an expensive mistake to book. The hotel is probably alright for couples but for families it should be avoided.

We had a lovely stay at the Franziskushöhe. Great staff. Nice place. We, my mother and l shared a family room. The only thing we would have liked are more chairs and a table to spend time in room. Hope to visit again in the future.

Schöne Lage, gute Naherholung

Das Hotel liegt ruhig am Waldrand. Es ist räumlich großzügig, sauber und man fühlt sich wohl. Die Sauna hat 2 Etagen, oben der Nassbereich, unten der Ruhebereich. Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist umfangreich. Schade ist, dass die gebrauchten Gläser vom Vorabend morgens noch auf der Theke stehen. Gelegentlich erwidert das Personal auch den Tagesgruß.

독일 소도시 숲속의 이쁜 호텔입니다.

프랑크푸르트 근교 Lohr 소도시에 있는 숲속에 있는 호텔입니다. 방은 매우 넓고 깨끗합니다. 주변에 산책로가 있어 좋았습니다. 호텔에서 바라보는 Lohr 소도시는 아름다웠습니다. 공기도 좋고, 밤에 별도 많이 볼 수 있었습니다. 직원들도 매우 친절했으며, 식당의 음식도 휼륭했습니다. 기회가 되면 다시 오고 싶습니다.

Frühstück um 7 ist lächerlich

Schönes Hotel, wo das Zimmer auf Anfrage gereinigt wird. Sehr angenehm, da man seine Ruhe hat! Frühstück um 7 geht überhaupt nicht. Seit Corona machen es sich die Hotels sehr einfach und bieten kein Frühstück mehr vor 7 an. Extrem schwach!

Schwache Leistung für 4 Sterne

An sich ein mittelmäßiges Hotel, Hauptgebäude augenscheinlich neuer und sauberer als das Nebengebäude in dem wir untergebracht waren. Abgesehen davon, dass das Nebengebäude in die Jahre gekommen ist, sind Treppenhaus und der Gang der beide Häuser verbindet schmutzig. Auch die Zimmer lassen zu wünschen übrig! Das Konzept nur Reinigung auf Wunsch, sprich nicht jeden Tag ist grundsätzlich nicht verkehrt. Allerdings wird wohl auch bei Ab- und Anreise Reinigung und Sauberkeit nicht groß geschrieben. Spinnenweben überall, Toilette und Böden mittelmäßig sauber. Die Durchgangstüren zu den einzelnen Zimmern extrem laut beim zufallen. Man hört alles von den angrenzenden Zimmern… Wohlfühlen und Schlaf finden war hier nicht der Fall! Service egal ob an der Rezeption oder im Restaurant mittelmäßig. Gerade im Restaurant überfordert und unterbesetzt (so macht es zumindest den Anschein). Das einzig positive war das Essen, welches vom Geschmack her und der Qualität wirklich gut war.
