Farmstay in Lombardy

"Very nice experience had a wonderful girls away trip. It is a distance from local shops, restaurants and Coffee shop’s etc but walkable. Went to central Milan by local train which was little difficult as sign posting not available everywhere. Accommodation was great as was the breakfast. The owner Paolo very friendly and helpful. "

"This place is a gem. A bit hard to get to, the road is narrow and bad, but well worth the trip! As its name suggests it is right among the vinyards with views to rival Tuscany. The hotel is lovely, my stay was late in the season but it is obvious how pleasant it would be in summer with the wonderful terrace and the large pool open. My room was elegant, with a rustic touch. "First, be aware that you need to follow ALL of the signs that say, “Runchee.” Your GPS/Apple Maps/Google maps will NOT take you to the hotel/B&B. Parking is easy. Find the place is not. Breakfast: if your idea of breakfast is bread and butter, coffee and cake, then you’re in business. Don’t expect a real meal. I paid in advance and the lady running the place chased me down to pay for my stay. Mistakes happen."
