I loved my stay at Flemings. no other word for it. And I will definitely stay here again if I'm able to go to London again.
Now for the very few caveats: I don't know if they somehow knew I was an 83 woman traveling alone, or not, but I suspect - but how? I have no idea. My room on the main floor, was on a hallway towards the back of the building, where it was totally quiet. You didn't enter the room directly off the lobby but after going through some doors and there were a number of rooms off this second hallway, so I didn't feel like I was practically sleeping in the lobby!
Some reviews mentioned having to navigate long hallways, level changes, and lots of stairways: I think this is inevitable if a hotel is created out of a number of old, small houses. You will definitely have a lot of level changes and yes, there could be a lot of walking to your room. That wasn't the case for me, and I will request the room I had when I return.
it has perhaps the most beautiful elevator I've ever encountered - lined with old, leather books. I'm not sure the entire books were there but it all felt like an old wonderful study! I went to the downstairs bar rather late one evening, by myself, and felt completely welcomed and comfortable. Just wanted a glass of wine after an evening out and it was perfect.
I didn't eat breakfast most days, but when I did the continental buffet was bountiful and delicious and lots of choices. considering the quality, not expensive.
This is a FIND!

Lean towards Oman’s excellent location. Breakfast was
Everything was clean and lovely, the staff were very good, and the cocktail bar was good. My only snag was the shower being in the bath ie need to crouch under. This is a problem that comes up in a lot of hotels, please just have a walk in shower. Apart from that nit picking I would highly recommend this hotel.
We have stayed here before and it is a lovely hotel in the perfect location. Everything we requested on booking was done for us and some nice little touches in the room
Flemings Mayfair is a charming hotel in a perfect London location, especially at Christmas time! The rooms are quite small (at least at the "Deluxe Double" level), but have everything one needs. We had three rooms for three couples, and all of us remarked on how cozy and comfortable our rooms were. And quiet!

The hotel has a good location and a friendly welcome. Our room was a bit small but ok.
Cleaning was maybe not the best as we had labels from the previous occupants shopping.
The bathroom was fine and breakfast was good.
