"Parking difficult due to event in hotel. We paid for an executive double room, the bed was very small and uncomfortable, definitely not a double so if booking be aware. Description indicates a restaurant, there is not one and breakfast is not served on a Monday. The location was ideal for where we wanted to go. We will not book again sorry."

"The room was not booked with a dog even that was requested at Hotels.com. The friendly recpetionist organised a room for me and my dog, but it was £20 more expensive, There was a dog charhe of 35£ instead of 25£ as on the website. I did get a room looking at a wall and it was so intensly smelling fo fresh paint that I had a headache and couldn't sleep esp a flickering fire alarm just above the bed wasn't helpful either. And all this "joy" for £189, no dogbed or towels (as described on the website), the food was average, the breakfast eggs and tomatos were cold and dry. Really not impressed. The restaurant might have seen better days. The views were mazing, but not from my room...."

"Clean room but toilets in bar were awful. Dirty and very worn. Restaurant staff all wonderful but need training on making sure diners have basics like cutlery before food is delivered. One gent brought us a knife and fork for dessert. Food was sub par too. Cold (supposed to be hot) mozzarella and pesto panini. Awful filling in a steak pie. 2 types of fruit on the breakfast buffet. Drinks service in the bar was slow. Room was clean and well kept, my only issue was no proper lighting anywhere. My spa treatment was amazing. Hayley was perfect in every way. Not enough loungers in the pool area but relaxation room was lovely. All staff pleasant and helpful. Only ever one person on reception so you had to wait ages for service. The doors to get in the reception were pull only which is not good enough when you have luggage. "
