"Our stay was great! The staff was very friendly and welcomed us each time we walked in the front. The area around is very walkable and we felt very safe, even when walking at night. You do have to request room service, but they were very responsive when we called or talked to the front desk."

"We enjoyed our stay at Jake's 58. Room prices were very reasonable. The rooms are very comfortable and roomy enough. It was a plus to have a refrigerator in the room. Going downstairs for coffee/tea etc. was very easy and not too inconvenient. We appreciated the amount of security at the doors. Valet service makes parking less of a hassle as long as you don't mind spending $10 each time you park. We would stay again."

"Everything was great other then the grounds due to a lot of dog waste on the grass .. they have an area for walking dogs with access to poop bags but there was no bags the whole time even after I requested. it was clear many didn’t use the area selected for dog walking ..I brought my own bags but other then that it was nice clean and safe .. just watch where u step "

"Cleanliness is very good. Staffs are friendly. Shuttle bus is convenient to go to Stony brook University. Transportation to other places is difficult. "
