"Location is great, proximal to the lake and town, stony beach nearby for swimming or paddle boarding, pier nearby you can fish off, playgrounds. Elevator seemed a bit dodgy and toilet in room was very loud to flush. Hotel restaurant was closed Sunday and Monday. Hotel pool was very small but my kids still loved it. Everything was tidy and staff was ok."

"This quaint and beautiful property is a gem. The rooms are clean and appointed in a way to keep with their history. But the bathroom does have a modern shower. Even better, my room had a claw foot tub for a great soak. The real beauty of this property is in the gardens out back just gorgeous."
