"I was pleasantly surprised as it was rated a two star hotel It was very, very clean, had a nice clean smell. The hallways were lit up with carpet that looked almost new. Our room was real nice. Had plenty of space and everything that we needed, We definitely would stay there again."

"The room was nice, however, there is no fan in the bathroom, no microwave or coffeemaker. Mattresses were sinking on both sides. The beach was so so, not as large as appeared in the photos, and the grounds were dirty due to the abundance of sea gulls and the millions of fish flies. The room itself was quiet. We were able to get a coffeemaker from the environmental manager. The breakfast was ok, but took a while and wasn't very warm. Overall not as nice as we remembered 10 years ago."

"Rooms clean, double bed rooms have kitchen with stove all pots and pans, plates and silverware. Great place to camp, but with AC and a bed. Beautiful beach, fire pit with wood provided, kayaks available to use. Play structure for the kids and corn hole. I will definitely stay there again when in Tawas."
