"I was at the Cleveland Clinic for a heart operation, had to stay on five days for a follow up visit. I'd been staying next to the CC, but went to Whyndam on the west side. Much much less expensive and all in a perfectly nice hotel. It's well managed. Nice staff, good cleaning teams, free parking, and lits of malls shops restaurants in Westlake and Avon. And 22 minutes from the airport. Breakfast for $11, it was $39 where I was staying before. It could use a little sprucing up here and there but heck that's part of its charm, I'm a budget traveler. Don't hesitate!"
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Cleveland - Airport North
8/10 Good
"Clean hotel, easy to get to. Bathroom is really small, and had to use bar soap for body wash as well as hand washing. Not the worst thing, but eh.
Pillows on the bed were tiny, which was weird. Bed itself was WAY more comfy than the stiff beds I've used in other hotels.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious.
4/5 for the tiny pillows and having to try to use bar soap in the shower (was very slippery), and the lack of a pool.
This is my second time staying here, however, at this location. Even if I didn't give it the full 5/5, the location in proximity to Cleveland and the amazing Mexican restaurant down the road (CozumEl) that we HAD to revisit is reason enough to come back to this location in the future.
I'll recommend this place if you're looking for cheaper options than staying in the busy part of town, but know that the cheaper cost will come with *slight* drawbacks."
"Best Western met our expectations for basic overnight lodging. Room was clean, beds comfortable. Standard breakfast options available. Staff was very friendly and accommodating."
"A very nice, clean and nicely located property. We had a king suite, and the room and amenities were wonderful. Very comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. We stopped for the night in our travels, so we didn’t get to see much of the surrounding town, but restaurants were plentiful and close by. I would definitely stay at this hotel again."
