The AC never worked properly it was a nightmare at night, the shower didn’t have good water pressure and adjusting the temperature was almost impossible it was always hot, the cleaning was never done properly they never cleaned the floors, the towels had debris and hair, the room key wasn’t working every day I needed to get it programmed at least once. Pros: the breakfast was delicious.

Great hotel if you want breakfast included and save money, but if you stay here, rent a car so you can get to places. We had to uber and it was $30-45 dollars to the marina ever time and we would have to get 2 ubers since there was 12 of us. The hotel was clean and great customer service.

I was not given an ocean room (that I had specifically booked and pre paid for). Asked for compensation and was denied. The sink in the bathroom didn’t drain and the phone in the room would ring but didn’t work. The free breakfast was decent.

The hotel was very nice and clean. The staff was very nice, courteous, and helpful as well. The only big negative for me and my family was the off location of the hotel from any beaches around there. There are no beaches around there where you can walk to. You will have to drive to go to any public beaches, therefore, you will require a car. The hotel is at mid point between San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo. Other than that, good place to stay and there are good eating options around the hotel. The pool on 5th floor (on top floor) was very nice and clean as well.

They now charge a mandatory “Sanitation Fee” when you check in. This was not included in the amount we paid to Expedia and is not disclosed anywhere on Expedia or the hotel’s policies online. We have stayed here about 10 times over the past year as we build our Cabo home and have never been charged any extra fees before. But, now that they are playing games with their hidden fees will not be coming back.

Here’s the deal. I do not appreciate being lied to. When we asked for something basic like a water or something as simple as a plastic bag to put our dirty clothes in they were told “we’re out”. The transportation from the airport to the hotel is also inaccurate. The room itself is kind of clean and the drain in the shower didn’t work as well.

I did not initially get what we paid for and spent two nights on a pull out bed, wheelchair accessible room, with water going everywhere on the floor from the shower. I slipped twice before getting reimbursed for the two nights and then moved to the appropriate room. Was told two days in a row they were fully booked and had to speak with multiple people in management before the supervisor ultimately fixed it. (Thank you Angela). Once in the new room the shower didn’t work properly but we worked through it. The breakfast was the best part of our stay and it was consistently decent each morning. The front desk staff was nice and patient, even when we had to use the translator. I realize it’s not their fault but management. This is my FIRST ever BAD experience with Hampton. It’s unfortunate.
