Very quiet place, with a good sized pool & brilliant staff. They couldn't do enough for us
Superb wifi (even down on the shoreline) helped us & our translate app greatly
Good menu choices for the included breakfast as well as snacks, drinks & meals throughout
Water pressure in the shower was average. Comfy bed, fluffy towels good air con

My wife and I spent our 25th wedding anniversary vacation here in January. We had the most wonderful relaxing week possible. We flew from London to Madrid for a couple of days then on to San Jose and finally Sansa Air to Tambor. Weather was incredible and Tango Mar hotel was divine. Perfect beach, palm trees, hardly anybody on it. Bliss. Food was excellent, and I thought reasonably priced which was good because we hadn't hired a car so we intended to just lay in the hammocks that are tied to the...

Its not as luxurious as it says . The rooms are very dark and dated , need extra touches such as slipper and dressing gowns , high quality toiletries. The bed is way to high , Im 165cm tall but still needed a step too get up. No TV in the room.
It needs to upgrade with the times , i. Im sure other hotels locally are more modern and up to date. Especially as the beach is massively disappointing, its dirty with ocean rubbish not just drift wood but from boats etc . The hotel needs to offer a wow...

Great place to stay for a few nights and chill. Enjoy the great, clean hotel and nice pool with the shaded areas that you need in this climate. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The food and drinks are superb and I would try anything on the menu with complete confidence. Prices are sensible and compare very favourably with other hotels in Costa Rica. I hope we can visit again!

Friendly and well travelled owners, they have some really interesting stories to tell! The place is in a quiet safe area with a river floating nearby that you can swim in. The nature around is beautiful.
Ask for recommendations for what to do in the area, the owners are well informed and can help you get organized.
I personally really enjoyed the horseback riding tour.

I can't recommend this hotel enough – I spent 3 nights here and loved every minute. Everything was perfect – super location, a clean, serene room with a balcony to sit out on and watch all the wildlife... Delicious breakfast and food in the restaurant (and at the moment all the football matches projected on the wall!) ... Every member of staff was kind and helpful... And so many nice touches: the lovely yoga in the open air studio... freshly baked cake every afternoon... and a to-go breakfast on...

The room was implacable and all staff have been extremely friendly, polite and very attentive. The food was varied and very nice every day.
Good list of cocktails and the bar staff would also happily give you something that is not on the list or make all the twists you asked for, and they would remember you even though the resort was very busy.
Didn’t use the parking so cannot comment on that.
We had a perfect 8 night stay and would very happily return to the resort.

These villas are just perfect. Adults only with a gorgeous warm swimming pool. Away from all the hussle of the town up in the hills, but still only 4m drive to the beach. Rosa and her husband were amazing and even helped fix our hire car when it broke down.

Amazing location and loved the view from outside our room looking down on the town. Room had all that was needed with a useful fridge and nice outside space. Reception staff were helpful and friendly. Pool area looked lovely too, although we didn’t get chance to go in.

Yes, there are holiday rentals close to the most popular sights in Los Órganos, or you can select a more secluded option if you're looking for a relaxing stay.
What’s there to see and do in Los Órganos?
While you're exploring the area, Organos Beach and Reserva Curu are a couple of picturesque spots to get outside and enjoy nature. Isla Tortuga Beach and Playa Langosta are a couple of places you'll find in the wider area.
What’s a holiday rental in Los Órganos like?
Holiday rentals are private properties where you can stay for a few weeks, or just a few days, in Los Órganos. Holiday rentals feature amenities such as hot tubs, fire pits and patios so you'll have everything you want. If you're concerned about a clean environment, a holiday rental can provide a sense of seclusion away from public hotel lifts and busy front desks while still allowing you the enjoyment of travel. You'll also have more space in a holiday rental than in a standard hotel, which is another reason why a holiday rental is a popular choice for families.
