This is a gem of a place - situated in tranquil countryside with walking trails to explore. Staff are friendly and helpful and the food is fabulous.

Great accommodation and pool. About 80% of food served in restaurant was grown on the farm. Fantastic walking trails around the farm from 2 - 16km in length. All very well marked. If you go pay for the farm tour run by the owner, Luis. For 15 euros per person you will learn so much about the land and the way regenerative farming works. The tour is by tractor and trailer in the late afternoon - you will see all the farm enterprises from sheep, pigs, jam making, fig fire water distillation, organic vegetables etc. The tour brings the whole concept together and helps you understand why the farm and accommodation is the it is. Great scenery, wonderful walks, nice swimming pool and welcoming, knowledgeable staff.

Die Quinta ist ein toller Ort im Hinterland der Algarve. Perfekt zum abschalten. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und sehr schön mit Liebe und Bedacht ausgestattet. Das Zimmer war großzügig und ebenfalls sehr geschmackvoll. Die Gastgeber und das Personal sind sehr freundlich und bemüht. Es werden regionale Produkte aus eigener Herstellung angeboten. Das leckere Frühstück kann flexible über den Tag eingenommen werden. Die Abendkarte war (für Vegetarier) klein aber fein. Wir würden hier beim nächsten Portugalurlaub wieder absteigen und es sehr empfehlen.

Es war ein super schöner Aufenthalt in der Quinta do Freixo. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und es war ein guter und entspannter Start in unseren Portugal Urlaub. Frühstück war super lecker mit schöner Aussicht. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Einziger kleiner Verbesserungstip wäre ein kleiner Kühlschrank auf dem Zimmer.
