"We absolutely loved everything about this apartment. The location is extremely convenient and the city views from inside the apartment (especially the view of the church) was beautiful. A lot of space for our family to stretch out , we traveled with two teenage girls and it was nice for them to each have their own bedroom. "The owner and staff were always easily accessible, knowledgeable and helpful. Quiet relaxed atmosphere 10 minutes by train from the old historic part of Lucerne and the train was free. My room looked out over horse pastures which was a great departure for the crowed noisy streets of downtown areas. The chef had over 40 years of experience and the dinners he prepared were delicious. Best place I stayed in three countries."

The air conditioning is quite weak, somehow I don't think the conditioner is sized correctly for the room's cubic area as it took ages for it to change the temperature - with the windows closed, and radiator off. The hotel is evidently well-insulated but getting rid of excess heat is an issue. 2. Car parking - specific numbered spaces are allocated but multiple times cars were parked in different spaces, including the one assigned to me...
