"We stayed at this property for 2 nights. The host’s communication was timely and efficient, we also appreciated the early check-in and the option to store our luggage after check-out. However, we encountered an unexpected issue. The property is spread over two levels, upon arrival, we naturally explored the space. "We really enjoyed our stay at The Beach House. We are a family of 4 with young children and a dog. We had a quadruple family room which was a really good size and nicely finished with a wonderful loch view. The location is excellent, with a little beach outside that was completely empty whenever we went, despite the nearby village feeling busy. Little extras like the nespresso machine and dog treats were appreciated. A couple of minor things, you have to drive a couple of miles out the way to check in at the main hotel, not a massive deal. Offering a cot would be a good addition for families. It was a very hot day and the room got really warm due to the big windows that barely opened. However we were relieved that they didn’t open much when we later realised at night the outside wall is absolutely covered in spiders!"

"The beds are comfy, rooms are quite clean, found two hairs in bathroom, paid full breakfast and was given only very limited cold food and was asked to pay extra £15 for hot food, then when checking out was told it was by mistake, the breakfast waiter shall have a breakfast guest list to verify all incoming guests this way he would know who is still missing so when we arrived 9:15 am with my son he got only rice flakes with milk … I like the lobby and bar, from outside it is dated but inside quite nice. "I've stayed here many times over the years and its a decent enough hotel. Rooms are a little dated but fit for purpose. Location is great for Glasgow west end. Staff are great and breakfast is decent enough also. Large car park but might be chargeable. Havent ate there often but its pretty expensive from what I can remember."
