Djorff Palace

"This is a stunning hotel in the West Bank of the Nile in Luxor. The hotel offers a boat across to the east bank whenever you need it, which is super convenient. It is full of charm and the staff are lovely. The swimming pool is great and breakfast is plentiful. We stayed in the Lapis room which was lovely although the bed is small and quite hard! There may be other rooms with larger beds…? The formidable Marina runs the place and she’ll tell you her fascinating life story. Note the hotel doesn’t serve alcohol (nor do most of the restaurants in Luxor) but there are a couple of ‘pubs’ on the east side."
Steigenberger Nile Palace

"Steigenberger Nile Palace exceeded my expectations. After a "so-so" Cairo/Giza hotel, I was pleasantly surprised by the real "upscale" experience—and for a very reasonable price, to boot! I opted for the "half board" option, and the dinners I had at both a-la-carte restaurants were hands down the best ones during my vacation. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone, but please keep in mind that "City View" rooms can be a little noisy, as Egyptian drivers are famous for "beeping" their way through..."

"The Pyramisa hotel is wonderful place to stay, right on the Nile. The pools are wonderful and the rooms are comfortable and spacious."

"The Susanna has a good location. It'a clean enough, serves a purpose .The bed was comfortable and has a great view from the roof top. They also serve a good breakfast there in the morning. The staff were very accommodating. It definitely serves a purpose."

"This hotel is amazing. Great staff, service , food, drinks and pool. It's great value - very clean. We stayed at the property 3 nights. They were so helpful. Our room was very nice had a little patio. Pool was clean. A very nice place. We will be back."

"Perfect location to get picked up on your Nile cruise, or even to stay for a few nights, it’s that great here. Pool was amazing, staff was super helpful and nice. Great view of the Nile from our room and from the pool. Go to the Egyptian/international restaurant over the Italian restaurant."
