"Loved this hotel - excellent position as a base for us walking the SW coast path. Rooms were lovely and the receptionist was so helpful and a real asset to the hotel team, helpful and welcoming - THANK YOU :) "
"Have been to Woolacombe many times and this was the best property we have stayed in. Comfy bed, good quality furnishings and great location within the village
Only thing I was say is we used the washing machine and then couldn’t find a clothes dryer …. Maybe it’s there somewhere but we couldn’t find one "
"This is a nice property that's had love and care poured into restoring it. The property is however over-marketed (and over-priced) in our opinion.
Expedia market as a 'cottage' and the pin shows a central Woolacombe location. Its actually in a holiday/residential park above Woolacombe. The park its in has a run down feel to it and the first impression was of deep disappointment. Once you've moved in then its a lovely property on the inside. The garden is communal - there is no division...
"We were welcomed by Charles and looked after very well both by Charles and Alison. Alison’s breakfasts were amazing. Gorgeous location and lovely homely touches "
"Hotel was well run and the chef kindly cooked some food of mine due to numerous dietary restricttions, and did it beautifully. Dog was welcome and much kindness shown to both of us. Would highly recommend particularly to solo travellers or those with dog."
"Guest house manager very thoughtful and helpful arrived in 28 degrees heat gave us ice cold water and fresh lemon while we waited to check in would recommend this guest house and situated in a excellent spot for attractions and food."
"Our hosts were eager to ensure our stay was enjoyable and were keen to assist us with ideas on things to do in the area. Breakfast was wonderful and the room was comfortable and clean."
