Love this hotel so much. There was some confusion over the room that I thought I had booked, but that was really my fault rather than the hotel, but they went to all lengths to make sure we were happy - and we were. Staff are super friendly, not just in the hotel but the restaurant for breakfast and in the attached pub next door. Such a great stay - thank you for looking after us :)

Gem of a hotel
Fabulous gem of a hotel, we had a wonderful weekend at The Bath Hotel. Staff are amazing!
Loved this hotel - excellent position as a base for us walking the SW coast path. Rooms were lovely and the receptionist was so helpful and a real asset to the hotel team, helpful and welcoming - THANK YOU :)
Quirky diuble "The Botanist' was lovely, very clean with fresh biscuits and tea and coffee provided. We were made aware of where we could find extra milk, coffee, towels etc by the reception staff. All staff were very accommodating. The bar was very pleasant with the staff giving good advice about cider and wine. Roast dinner was great - a real show stopper!
All the staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Lovely hotel, central to everything. Food was plentiful and very nice. We will definitely visit again
Excellent homely hotel clean, beautifully decorated to make you feel relaxed and friendly welcome from staff , on arrival. Good value and tasty food served in restaurant.
Third time this year we have stayed here so far.
One of our favourite places to stay and never disappoints.
rooms are all unique, staff welcoming, food excellent, location so nice in the heart of England's little Switzerland.
Great for Dogs, good food, good beers, and picturesque.
The decor was lovely and unique and our bedroom was so comfortable stylish and had great views. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Also if you can, have a massage, it was wonderful!
Really great hotel, spotlessly clean and lovely staff
Room was bright and airy - you could actually open the windows, bed comfy.
Breakfast was amazing.
Lovely historic hotel in Lynmouth right by the water. Be aware that check-in ends at 10pm and front doors lock at 11pm, but staff are friendly and helpful if you need any accomodation around that. We called and were given instructions on how to get our keys on arrival after 10pm. As for our stay, the hotel was comfortable, quiet and lovely. The breakfast options were quite nice as well.
The decor of this Victorian building is superb. From the floor tiles and reception rooms decorated in the style of the era. Our bedroom modern and very clean.
All the staff were lovely and we were allowed to park in the private parking, a real bonus!
The breakfast was superb.
The Bath Hotel is definitely recommended. In the heart of Lynmouth, it provides a delicious breakfast with plenty of choice. Our room was comfortable and clean, overlooking the river mouth and sea.
Nice cosy and friendly hotel with pub, good breakfast, attentive staff, allows dogs hence we stayed there. Only two negatives…small very firm double bed not king size, and pub/restaurant didn’t serve food until 18:30 in the evenings.
The staff were very friendly both in reception and in the dining room. The breakfast was fabulous with lots of fresh choices. The bedroom was a little dark but cozy and comfortable. The room was made up clean and tidy every day. It was lovely and quiet at night.
Very nice hotel run by nice people. The bed and the room (we had a suite) was a little small, but we got used to it. We had our own parking which was very convenient. Breakfast was well prepared and good service.
Loved the boutique decor and quirky nature of the building. The setting is perfect, right by the waterfront. Parking is a bit of an issue, so don't come back to the hotel until 4 pm, when parking is better ( fewer daytrippers). Bed was hard and pillows were not very comfortable, but that was only my taste. Breakfast was very good with a nice buffet and choices for cold and hot cooked food.
Bijou but perfectly formed and very comfortable. We mentioned the curtain rail was coming away from the wall and they were on it.
The food and service was fantastic. We ate in the pub next door both nights and were very pleased with the standard of the food. The only critique was the meat pie, although tender and full of meat, it was very dry as though under a heat lamp for a while.
The staff were super helpful and friendly.
It is slightly more pricey than some hotels but the view and position contribute to this. A quality small hotel and would go again.
Very warm welcome by the duty manager Ran who kindly took our bags to our room so that we could order our late lunch in the bar. His hospitality and that of all the staff including Mavlouda in the restaurant was very attentive. The same for the bar staff whose names I unfortunately did not get. Our room was very comfortable with a large walk in shower and plenty of tea and coffee. The view was lovely
We booked for a 2-day short break in Lynmouth.
First impressions were low due to dark decor and lighting in lounges, dining and at reception but this was the venue 'style'. However, and despite the climbe to the top of the building, the hotel was great.
Breakfast was excellent.
