"A door placard should be in each room to let the maids know I want my room cleaned and towels replaced! We were there for three nights and had to ask for clean towels and trash to be removed!"

"They added a $10 a day parking fee. The other hotel chains I normally stay at don't do that. They also advertise free internet but you need to make an account to access it. The speeds for their "free" package were so slow that even watching Netflix on their room TV kept buffering and dropping quality. The staff were very nice and the hotel was clean but I wouldn't stay again with Marriot or this location."

"The room was clean and comfortable. The shuttle service was great. The breakfast was wonderful and dinner in the restaurant was good although the menu was limited. The only issue I had was calling the desk for the shuttle. Realizing there are times the clerks are busy it is still unfortunate to be put on hold for quite a while and not knowing if the call is still waiting or has been forgotten or dropped. Other than that issue I have no complaints and would stay there again"

"We absolutely loved our stay at The Cove. The room is so adorable and was very clean and comfy. We were within walking distance of downtown Salem and enjoyed the walk. The staff was amazing and helped us figure out what to do while we were there. We will definitely be back!"

"Typical hotel free buffet breakfast. No pool, hot tub or outdoor patio, but the staff was really nice and helpful. We saw a show, so we only stayed one night - slept and left. The bed was great - best one for me, maybe ever. Easy off/on the highway. It does have shampoo/conditioner in the shower - not the little bottles."

"It is a clean hotel with a comfortable bed. The man who checked us in was great. The folks at the bar/restaurant were very friendly as well. Our only glitch was confusion over the status of our parking. We were led to believe it was a $70 fee for the week when in fact it was $25 per day and the woman who dealt with us was not as polite as we might have hoped. Maybe she was having a bad day, but this was disappointing."

"The best things going for this property are the proximity to the airport and the free airport shuttle. There was only one elevator working so wait times were long for that. The room was alright but definitely in need up updating, although the beds were comfortable and seemed relatively new. "The restaurant was excellent. The experience with the hotel not so great. 1. I arrived at the hotel at 2 45 pm. It is a steep walk up 6 or so stairs to get into the hotel, which was difficult for me to get my suitcase up. No one was there. I had to sit around and wait for staff to show up which was 3:30 or so. There are no other businesses around. It is 1 and a half stories up to the first floor of rooms with several stairs. Lucky for me, the gentleman that checked me in carried the suitcase up...
