"My stay at albergo Miramare was outstanding. As a female, solo traveler, I was very nervous about coming to Italy for the first time by myself and I had always dreamed of going to Positano. "Excellent location, views and staff but lets be clear about something- IT IS NOT A PRIVATE VILLA! On the 2nd night other guests had to pass by our “private balcony suite” to access their suite. We brought this up to the owner and all he offered was that we could leave… we contacted Expedia as well and even they could not bet the owner to budge or even offer explanation. If it had been advertised as shared space then that would be ok but it wasnt! "

"Room was smaller than expected and the breakfast included was not really included. Located just a couple minutes walk down the road from the heart of positano where a lot of shops and cafes are. Even has its own private beach club which you can use their kayak for free to row over to the infamous Arienzo beach club. A boat bar came around to which was nice. Staff was very nice. "
