"The story with this property is : location location location. On one side is old Sacramento think tourism for railroad fans and on the other side David j Stern Arena. Basketball fans, shopping and dining. All right there. The hotel itself is upgrading as I type this report. My room 224 had a new comfy king size bed and remodeled. Keep that in mind ( hotel is in renovation mode) The pool and hot tub in excellent condition"

"Not terrible. We paid for the most expensive room there, but 1 lamp was broken. It had a dual shower head plus a handheld shower head, but only 1 shower head worked. The soaps in the bathroom were all empty. It didn’t seem like there were other guests when we stayed on a Tuesday night so not sure how that got missed. Could have been a better experience if these basic things were covered. When you pay for the most expensive room there, which is a honeymoon suite… you would think you would have all amenities and things to not be broken. Also be aware the view from the room is a back alley with all the dumpsters and around 6:30 am there must of been tree cutting or landscaping very loud noises and then people throwing trash away which was also very noisy. Other than that location is near everything you need in sac and the room was cozy. Whole hotel had a weird smell like too much cleaning product trying to cover up a worse smell. Also homeless people surrounding area at night which isn’t the hotels fault but worth knowing before staying"

"This place was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. It was filthy and smelled terrible. The walls were covered in dirt, shoeprints, handprints footprints and what looked like bodily fluids. The beds were dirty with a bunch of hair and crumbs on them. The refrigerator smelled like someone stored stool samples in it. The furniture all appeared to have “happy” stains all over them. It was so disgusting, I didn’t even stay through the night I decided I would rather drive back home then sleep in this dumpster. The AC did not work well and the front cover was missing. The bathroom door does not shut or lock it’s just a slider. There were no screens on the windows so people could easily just hop in if they wanted or reach in a grab your items. Everything was covered in dust. I went to the lobby to ask for another room but as I was standing there I looked around and the lobby was filthy with dirty walls and a huge sticky puddle of someone’s spilled drink that had dried. I would never recommend that anyone stay here. My friend who was there with me decided to stay for the night and he survived, so there’s that. The staff was also pretty awful when I walked in. I stepped in the lobby they let out a sigh and said yes… overall this was the worst experience I have ever had a hotel."

"A wonderful stay in every respect. Clean well-appointed room with easy to operate lights, air conditioning and electronics. Very friendly and competent staff, good restaurant and an excellent location! "

"Upon arrival there was a huge wedding party at the entry blocking all foot and veh traffic. It's already valet only. I got checked into a room DIRECTLY under the rooftop bar where the wedding was. She never even told me about the wedding or details or noise advisory. I get to my room and there's a rave going on with crazy amplified sound. I eventually get moved to then learn the entire rooftop bar is closed and no access. Oh and also they are closed until Wednesday. No pool, no comfortable lounge area besides the check in lobby, no parking, restaurant is wildly over priced. My mother's day get away was awful. Thank you Hyatt Centric "
