"Quite possibly the best hotel I’ve ever stayed (even among 5-star hotels I’ve been to before). The breakfast is outstanding. Staff are so helpful. "

"We were a little disappointed with the hotel. We booked an executive suite but it looked quite different to the photos (not as nice). Breakfast was not great - hot food was either luke warm, or cold, and none of the coffee machines were working properly and none of the staff rectified the issue. The positive’s was that the bed was comfortable, the room was quiet, and the location of the hotel is very good. If we return to Shanghai we wouldn’t stay here again."

"Great location with a subway station very close. Staff were lovely and we were lucky enough to be given an upgrade. The room was very spacious. I just wish we had been able to spend longer in Shanghai!"

"The aircon was locked on heating making for an uncomfortable first two nights at 25.5 °C. Fortunately concierge sent someone to switch it to cooling mode for me. While a little dated, the room size was excellent as was the sauna."
