"Breakfast was poor. No cutlery available, had to ask for clean cutlery. Plates and crockery were dirty with dried on food around the edges. Tables were left uncleared and breakfast food choices were minimal. Staff seemed very disinterested and when asked any questions, we were made to feel that we were a burden rather than paying guests! Would never stay in an ibis again"

"Room was lovely, noisy neibours but was ok after midnight, some staff on check in was a bit snotty then the receptionist that actually ended up checking us in was lovely. Breakfast was nice but was dirty cutlery they got us clean ones there was no Nutella in the big press tubs but the rest of the food you couldn’t fault, all in all it was a decent stay "

"What makes this hotel is the staff from front desk to those dealing with the rooms. Everyone was professional courteous & very helpful. Spotlessly clean. For me the location is ideal. I will be back."

"Looks like it was once a grand plush hotel, room dated but large and clean and the bathroom looked recently refurbed, got a triple room for same as a double which turned out to be a bonus as we had seperate bedrooms,close to station and bars, cracking stay for a game at anfield."

"Clean room and bathroom , towels and sheets. Hot water. Hot water initially discoloured from sink tap but cleared. Apparently due to heating Room heater didn’t work Lift was broken when I stayed. Steep stairs and upper floor room ok for me , but impossible for any disability. Stairwell grubby."
