Giving it 2 stars because the room itself was okay I booked a five‑night stay and had a travel delay, so I called the hotel repeatedly to let them know. No one ever answered. "I booked this hotel so my children could use the pool to enjoy while us parents had prior engagements. The pool was closed and has been closed for months. Expedia DID NOT INFORM. Total waste of money. I had to pay for them to do activities outside the hotel, this put me over budget. The room was spacious but dirty. Carpet had a strong odor, refrigerator and microwave I had to clean disgusting, the bin that holds the iron, filled with stains & dust. Iron board stained and dirty. Tub had tile...

"Broken outlets, bathroom door would not close, dirty floors, damp everywhere, smelled of mold in hallways. Bathroom sink smelled STRONGLY of sewage. Made me throw up, it was so bad."

"I lost my identification and they wouldn’t let me check in with my 11 year old daughter and we was homeless and on top of us not being able to check in because I lost my wallet before I got there and kept 2700$ and never gave me a refund!!"

"The Hampton Inn & Suites in Yonkers was clean and peaceful. They're was plenty of parking. I spent one night there for my birthday. My room was upgraded to a Suite at no cost to me. Not because it was my birthday but because I did not need the two queen bed room I booked. The continental breakfast hit the spot. It wasn't too heavy. I would book there again."

"Room was clean, staff was pleasant, parking was easy. And the stay was overall a 10 out of 10! We didn’t get up early enough for breakfast since we went to a concert the night before, so that’s the only thing we didn’t get to experience. But besides that, I absolutely loved the room. Very spacious and although the hotel was packed, it was still very chill and quiet."

"TV stopped responding to remote. We then attempted to manually change channels and power TV off from the unit controls. Nothing worked. We had to unplug the TV to turn off. Then it wouldn't turn back on!"

"Clean room, great staff, great breakfast with lots of options. Always coffee available and the room and facilities were kept well. We got a room with a jacuzzi and it was perfect! The pool wasn’t full size and was a little dirty, but we still enjoyed it and others did as well. We made use of the gym, but the water bubbler was empty both days. The front desk gave us bottled water instead."
