"amazing place"

"Room was beautiful, location you can’t fault if you want animals around you and the views are amazing. Couple down falls for me: Hair in the drawer of the vanity from the previous guest/s Friendly spiders one on the wall and one in the bed which led to a horrible sleep as I was constantly nervous about spiders in the bed Sticky floor round the kitchen area."

"Excellent hotel, just off main street, clean and comfortable"

"Could find iron board, was under bed not in cupboard could leave note saying where it was. Ask for apple crumble for dessert got apple pie and paying $15 for it would to get right thing. Pizza for tea one night don't put parsmesm cheese on top after it's cooked didn't like it. The staff are very helpful and polite nice place just few things not right"

"I appreciate the age of the property but the guest rooms are in desperate need of refurbishment."

"All was good.we did have a problem with ants even though we had no food there. It was a shame there was no spray.. got help from an outsider."

"Off grid cabin / eco tiny home in a scenic area in the hills above Hahndorf. The property had 8 cabins which were really well spaced out giving a feeling of privacy and the area had many birds and kangaroos. Well laid out cabin with thoughtful additions from the host such as kindle/firefighter and matches for the koonara. A lovely stay, highly recommend."

"Great base to explore McLaren Vale. Excellent restaurant with an easy walk to our room. Very friendly staff from cleaners wine tasting, reception & restaurant"

"Greeted by a friendly front desk lady who was very efficient and polite. Enjoyed the stay! 😊"

"A truly amazing place to stay for independent adult travellers. It's not far from Port Willunga, McLaren Vale and road connections, but it is comparatively remote. You have to be self-sufficient as the staff are not on site most of the time. Expect to drive for shops, restaurants etc - and as there are no cooking facilities, you need to do that, or have meals delivered - but that is the charm. To see wallabies lolloping by at dusk or dawn, honey-eaters busy among the flowers, the horizon of...
