"The property description on Expedia is incorrect. This tea house does not offer rooms with private bathrooms. Their nicest rooms offer an attached squat toilet with a bucket of water.
There is no sink and no shower in the āprivate bathroom.ā The advertised āhot showerā is a communal hot shower next to the dining room. The western toilet and sinks are also communal.
The owners were unaware of our booking until calling back and forth with someone in Kathmandu. Theyāre nice people and the tea...
