"Location was spot on and the breakfast excellent. Had dinner once… best in Porto Moniz my a mile. Rooftop pool was good but didn’t have a bar or any toilets up there (had to go back to room). Free access to the lava pools was a great bonus…and brilliant fun on the few days when the Atlantic was trying its best to get in😎 Minor defect…We had a broken bedside lamp which was not fixed."

"The Hotel is absolutely gorgeous and in an amazing part of Funchal. The rooftop pool And bar are absolutely unbelievable with the best views in town. The staff are incredible and the rooms were cleaned impeccably. Possibly needing a little TLC in some parts of the room. But do not let it put you off absolutely fantastic would definetly return"

"Fantastic hotel, would highly recommend. The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming and attentive. The hotel itself is very nice, clean and has a great vibe to it. The food was phenomenal and I ended up eating breakfast and lunch most days at the hotel. It's in a great location too and has an awesome little swimming spot in the ocean. I was a solo traveler and felt very safe here. Very worth it to upgrade your room to an ocean view!! Would definitely come back!"
