They must be including the outdoor patio area which is completely misleading to guests. The room was tiny with no desk or chair, and nowhere to put your suitcase. "Although we only stayed here for two nights, my sister and I enjoyed our stay at the Escape Beach Resort as the staff was very kind and helpful. The room was comfortable and the restaurant was good for dinner and supper. The only downside of the hotel is it’s location as it’s situated down a very steep hill and some narrow roads which are quite scary to drive on.Taxis also cost more to come pick you up at the hotel as they have to drive down the steep hill. If you do stay there, consider renting...

"A potentially nice resort if the owner would care about her guests. They didn't. Breakfast very poor, coffee machine broken so they served this typically sour, old coffee. No pool staff, lack of chair matrasses. In the evening the resort is -besides the guard- dead. There is nobody from staff, only some guests. The resort is known around for a owner who doesn't care. Only stay there if you want a large villa with a perfect large bed, that's the only positive thing i can tell."

"Great staff who were very helpful. Fantastic views and very spacious rooms but the hotel appears to be out of the main thoroughfare , but the staff will arrange a taxi for very little cost to get you everywhere in Samui. A lovely experience and the manager, Kat is great."
